Ovrture is built to be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This policy states the standard we hold ourselves to, how we validate it, and how to reach us if something falls short.

- Conformance is assessed internally; we have not had an independent third-party audit.
- No overlays or alternate "lite" modes: accessibility is built into the product itself.

Our accessibility standard.
Ovrture is dedicated to making its platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe accessibility is fundamental to an inclusive product, one that lets every user engage with our tools and services.
The standard we build to
We design and develop the Ovrture platform to substantially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the technical standard from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard the U.S. Department of Justice adopted under ADA Title II, and the most widely referenced accessibility benchmark across higher education and the nonprofit sector.
What's next
We are evaluating WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria now, and working to align the platform with the latest W3C recommendations as part of our accessibility roadmap.

Our commitment to accessibility is backed by documented process, not intention alone.
Independent assessment
We have not engaged an independent third party to audit the Ovrture platform's accessibility or to produce a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template). Conformance against WCAG 2.1 Level AA is assessed internally, using the testing tools and methodology below.
Testing tools and methodology
We test with TPGi's ARC Toolkit, which evaluates conformance against WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1, EN 301 549, and Section 508. Our quality assurance team maintains its accessibility expertise through the DHS Trusted Tester certification program.
Keyboard accessibility
Every personalized site and report Ovrture produces can be fully navigated with a keyboard alone, no mouse or trackpad required.
No overlays, no alternate modes
Ovrture does not rely on an accessibility overlay, a "lite" version, or an alternate interface to meet accessibility requirements. Accessibility is built into the primary product experience.
In our development lifecycle
Accessibility is part of how we build and improve the platform: we maintain documented processes for carrying accessibility objectives through our development lifecycle and product roadmap, and an issue we identify is tracked through our Change Management Board and prioritized for remediation. A detailed roadmap with delivery timelines is available on request.
Supporting your compliance obligations.
Many of our clients, particularly institutions of higher education and nonprofit organizations, operate under their own regulatory requirements for digital accessibility: ADA Title II, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and state-level mandates among them. We support our clients' compliance efforts, and commit to meeting WCAG 2.1 AA, to the fullest extent possible, as part of our contractual agreements.
User-generated content
This policy covers platform elements Ovrture creates. It does not extend to content a client uploads or authors within the platform. We encourage clients to follow accessibility best practice for their own content, and we are available to advise on creating accessible content inside Ovrture.
