Ovrture’s 2025 Enhancements Round-Up
As the year wraps up, I want to walk you through what we built in 2025—and more importantly, why it matters for your work.
If I had to name a theme for this year, it would be: getting out of your way.
We spent 2025 removing barriers—eliminating manual steps, cutting context-switching, clearing organizational hurdles, and making things that used to require effort just work. The goal: less time wrestling with the platform, more time focused on your donors.
Here’s what changed.
Surveyor: Impact Stories Without the Chase
This was our biggest release of the year, and it fundamentally changes how you gather content for stewardship reports.
Surveyor lets you collect real-time impact stories, quotes, and updates from the people closest to philanthropy: students, clinicians, faculty, and program staff. That content flows directly into your Ovrture reports—no juggling outside tools, no chasing email threads, no copy-paste workflows. One path from survey to stewardship.
Throughout the year, we kept refining it based on what you told us: pause/resume functionality for respondents, streamlined email notifications, better control over linked funds across multiple surveys, and an improved Approve and Transfer workflow that cuts steps out of moving content into reports.
Interactions: Learn What Matters to Your Donors
Interactions turn your donor communications from broadcasts into conversations. These interactive content panels help you learn what matters to your most important supporters—and show them you’re paying attention.
We launched with a dozen-plus templates, then expanded later in the year with two more: a Matrix format for scaled responses (“Rate each statement from strongly disagree to strongly agree”) and a Questionnaire template for presenting multiple question types in a single panel.
AI Content Assistant: Faster Writing, No Context-Switching
The AI Content Assistant lives inside your familiar editor. Proofreading, content suggestions, text generation—all without leaving the platform or compromising security. It’s designed to speed up content creation within the workflow you already know.
SOC 2 Type 2: One Less Conversation with IT
We achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance this year. This isn’t a checkbox—it’s a rigorous, independently audited standard that validates how we handle your data, our security practices, and our operational controls.
For your IT and compliance teams, it means confidence. Continuous monitoring. Transparent processes. Donor data protected to the highest industry standards. And for you, it means one less hurdle when getting stakeholders on board.
Deeper CRM Integrations
Data Map Module: For clients who want granular control, the new Data Map module lets admins customize field names, map CRM fields for seamless imports, and shape the logical structure of donor records, fund details, financials, and impact data.
Blackbaud CRM via BrightVine Solutions: We partnered with BrightVine to streamline data flow between Blackbaud CRM and Ovrture—available at no extra cost to existing clients. Fewer data silos, expert support, more time for the work that matters.
Salesforce Integration: Ovrture now connects directly with Salesforce, making it easier to track engagement, automate stewardship reporting, and support major donor cultivation inside your existing CRM workflow.
Smarter Content & Asset Management
Autofit Photos: Upload images in bulk without resizing first. The system crops automatically and detects faces to keep people in frame.
Print Individual Report Tabs: Export a single tab or all tabs as needed—useful for quarterly updates or content organized by category.
Image Compression Upgrade: Photos and graphics stay crisp without sacrificing load times.
Printbridge Enhancements: Replace cover images for printed reports, keep hyperlinks clickable in PDFs, and eliminate duplicate attachments automatically.
The Small Stuff That Adds Up
We shipped dozens of smaller improvements this year, all driven by your feedback:
- Undo and Redo buttons in the text editor
- Export linked records by fund for cleaner data analysis
- Fund and impact type codes visible in-platform (no more downloading separate keys)
- More preview buttons throughout the report data module
- Toast notifications instead of disruptive pop-ups
- Separate magic links for primary and secondary household contacts
- Asset and download columns in fund data exporters
- Simplified data map uploaders for easier bulk management
- Locked Printbridge reports that stay in sync with locked web versions
Individually, these are minor. Together, they represent hours saved and friction removed from workflows you repeat every week.
Looking Ahead to 2026
We’re already deep into what’s next:
Site and Report Builder Enhancements (December 2025): Save multiple content configurations for bulk building, control which data panels render per report or tab, and streamline workflows for creating at scale.
File Management Overhaul (January 2026): Drag-and-drop support, multi-file management, keyboard shortcuts, high-fidelity in-browser previews, and connections to leading Digital Asset Management tools.
Internal Feedback Collection (Q1 2026): Collect stakeholder feedback through direct annotation of donor webpages—no more email chains or separate review documents.
AI Agents for Personalized Content (Q2 2026): AI that blends your campaign messaging with donor-specific information to create personalized content at scale, on-message and tailored to each donor’s priorities.
Thank You
Everything on this list exists because you told us what you needed. Your feedback drives our roadmap—not just the big features, but the small refinements that make your daily work easier.
We take real pride in supporting your major donor programs, and we’re energized to keep getting out of your way in 2026.
