The Origin Story of Ovrture

The origin of Ovrture began with a simple conversation with Lehigh University. We discussed the challenges faced by traditional campaign communications. Lehigh’s insights, combined with our expertise, sparked the creation of our minimum viable product, designed to test the core concept.
From humble beginnings on post-it notes, Ovrture has evolved into a full-fledged platform through three successive iterations – Ovrture 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. These versions expanded the core technology within the platform, enhancing features like the site builder/editor and content/administrative controls. Throughout this process, we sought and valued feedback from our early adopter clients, including esteemed institutions like the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Emory University, and the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation, among others. They used Ovrture to create highly personalized websites for leadership and major gift prospects, validating the effectiveness of our approach.
Building upon the insights gained from these early adopters and our understanding of the landscape of stewardship communications, Ovrture 4.0 has emerged. This latest iteration is designed to scale seamlessly within large, complex organizations. Most importantly, it incorporates a robust stewardship reporting module, a vital component we are excited to share.
