Ovrture’s 2024 Enhancements Round-Up
As the year comes to a close, we are excited to share a summary of the enhancements we made to the platform in 2024.
While our mission has not changed, how we help nonprofits communicate more effectively with major donors and prospects sure has. This year, we worked on improving stewardship reporting, simplifying workflows, improving content creation, and developing more integrations.
Smarter Data Management for Major Donor Cultivation and Stewardship
Managing data well is key to successful donor communications and engagement. Our platform updates have enhanced how our clients manage donor information.
- Soft Deletes: Gain more control over your data. Soft deletes let you temporarily remove donor records or fiscal year data without losing them forever. This gives administrators the ability to restore or permanently delete data when needed.
- Change Logs and System Logs: Track modifications with unparalleled transparency. These logs show who made changes to a site or report, when they occurred, and what actions people took. This makes auditing easier and improves accountability.
- API Dashboard: Ovrture’s API dashboard helps you see the connections between your instance of Ovrture to your CRM and other systems. This reduces user frustration and creates one reliable source for your important data.
Faster & More Data-Driven Endowment Reporting
This year, we have dramatically enhanced the workflows for non-profit impact reporting. These new tools help improve internal work.
- Report Creation Tools: Build up to 250 reports at a time (an increase from 100 at a time) with improved workflows that reduce errors and save time. Features like custom naming options and advanced filters help optimize your efforts.
- Tag-Based Exports: Use donor tags to organize data for tailored analytics. This helps make analyzing your major donor communications efforts clearer.
Streamlined Content Creation, Editing, & Sharing
Enhancing donor communications is at the heart of Ovrture’s mission. This year’s updates aim to improve clarity and usability for our clients.
- Inherited Content Panels: Revolutionize how you manage consistent, typo-free boilerplate content across multiple stewardship reports or cultivation sites. Update a single panel, and watch those changes automatically reflect wherever you use that panel.
- Enhanced File and Character Support: Upload .heic and .jfif photos, and use expanded special characters in fund names and reports, reducing common frustrations in digital stewardship workflows.
Further Investment in Security & Compliance
As donor software for nonprofits, Ovrture continues to evolve to meet modern security standards and scalability demands. This year, we’ve made significant strides toward achieving SOC2 certification, setting the stage for enhanced security and trust.
Additionally, we improved sign-in and sign-out capabilities for both internal teams and donors.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Improve system security with an optional MFA feature. This gives you peace of mind and does not disrupt donor access.
- Donor Sign-Out Option: An intuitive logout feature now offers donors more control over their site and report interactions.
Looking Ahead
As we close out 2024, we feel energized by our progress and are even more excited about what lies ahead. We have a clear vision for 2025. From deeper integrations to streamlined workflows, the forthcoming survey functionality, and a continued focus on security, there’s much to look forward to.
